Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Is It AI Photo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service And Results

The service may run in an explicit mock mode or a detector-backed mode. A mock response verifies private storage and deletion only; it is not an AI-generation assessment and never uses a credit.

Detector-backed results are probabilistic screening aids. The three result states—Likely AI-generated, Inconclusive, and Likely not AI-generated—do not prove origin, authenticity, authorship, editing history, legality, or intended use. Do not use a result as the sole basis for legal, employment, financial, safety-critical, or high-impact decisions.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, violate laws, infringe third-party rights, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt systems, evade upload limits, or submit harmful content. Upload only SFW images you own or are authorized to test.

Credits And Payment

Each signed-in account receives five free Basic Checks per UTC calendar month when detector-backed mode is enabled. The allowance resets monthly, does not roll over, and each successfully completed Basic Check uses one credit. Provider failures and rejected unsafe uploads do not use a Basic Check.

Payment, credit-pack purchases, subscriptions, and automatic renewal are disabled. We may change future paid offerings only prospectively with updated product terms.

Private History

Completed detector-backed checks and their private images are retained for up to 30 days unless the account owner deletes them sooner. History is account-scoped and is not a public gallery.

Intellectual Property

The service, interface, documentation, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. You may stop using the service at any time.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made from a mock response or probabilistic detector result, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to use of the service.
